Willard van Orman Quine
Notable American Pragmatist in the mid-century sort of time period. Quine is of the Deweyan lineage (Dewey>Quine>Rorty>Cornel West), but in many respects his version of pragmatism, and particularly his concept of “ontological relativity”, resemble James.
