“It’s an awesome spectacle. An audacious display of seething opponents, once again parallel in an obstinent attempt to prove superiority of the roads unequaled in our lifetime. The crowds swell in anticipation as the light turns green!”
“Truly a sight to behold. The man, beaten. The once great champ, now a study in moppishness. No longer the victory hungry stallion we’ve raced so many times before. But a pathetic, washed-up aged ex-champion…”

Mmm. Brilliant. Delightful sendup of 80’s teen romantic comedies, made in the prime of their life; stars John Cusack in good form. Is funny. One of Nick’s favorites.
But the true delight is in the bizarre, inexplicable supporting characters. We have the little brother who, relying only on his innate genius and some mail-order manuals, gets women and builds spaceships. We have the demonic paper-boy and his never-ending quest for his “Two Dollars!”. We have the utterly necessary exchange student trapped with the corpulent Ricky and his rather disturbing mother. We have the mystical stoner best friend.
And of course, we have the K-12. If you ski the K-12, girls will go sterile just looking at you. The K-12 is pure snow. Can you imagine its street value?
